Most of the world suffers from the spam problem. However, some countries do little to deter spammers from operating within their borders. These countries become safe havens for the spam operations that plague everyone else, including their own nationals.

Countries with the highest number of spammers operating within their networks are usually those with poor or non-existent spam laws.

The world's worst Spam Haven countries today are: list.

Spam continues to plague the Internet because a small number of large Internet Service Providers sell service knowingly to professional spammers for profit, or do nothing to prevent spammers operating from their networks.

Although all networks claim to be anti-spam, some network executives factor revenue made from hosting known spam gangs into corporate policy decisions to continue to sell services to spam operations. Others simply decide that closing the holes in their end-user broadband systems that allow spammers access would be too costly to their bottom lines.

The majority of the world's service providers succeed in keeping spammers off their networks and work to maintain an anti-spam reputation, but their work is undermined daily by the few networks who, out of corporate greed or mismanagement, choose to be part of the problem. The world's worst spam problem networks today are: list.

Up to 80% of spam targetted at Internet users in North America and Europe is generated by a hard-core group of around 200 known professional spam gangs whose names, aliases and operations are documented in Spamhaus' Register Of Known Spam Operations (ROKSO) database.

This TOP 10 chart of ROKSO-listed spammers is based on those Spamhaus views as the highest threat, the worst of the career spammers causing the most damage on the Internet currently. Spamhaus flags these as a priority for Law Enforcement Agencies.

MS выпустила 11 версию Media Player. Скаченная с официального сайта, программа проверяет валидность ОС - у меня, естественно, ничего установилось =) Но... немного повозившись, я все-таки смог установить программу, при этом ни один из файлов в поставке не спострадал. Итак, мои действия:

• Распаковка скаченого .exe файла в отдельную папку (например WinRARом)
• Запуск всех .exe фалов из получившегося каталога. Я запускал все файлы по-очереди (кроме .exe с иконкой WMP) их было штук 6-7, точнее не вспомню сейчас, но у них названия говорящие, не запутаешься =)
• Перезагрузка

В принципе все =) Т.е. сама проверка на валидность ОС реализована в установщике программы, внутри которого есть нормальный дистрибутив =) Сегодня вечером попробую таким образом IE7 поставить =)

Подключился к Корбине =) Нет слов...

Пусть F — функция высшего порядка с параметром G функционального типа. Тогда функцию G, задающую параметр (а иногда и саму функцию F), называют функцией обратного вызова (callback функцией). Термин вполне понятен. Если в некотором внешнем слое функция Q вызывает функцию внутреннего слоя F, то предварительно во внешнем слое следует позаботиться о создании функции G, которая и будет передана F. Таким образом, функция Q внешнего слоя вызывает функцию F внутреннего слоя, которая, в свою очередь (обратный вызов) вызывает функцию G внешнего слоя.

Ура, мы победили =) Все системы работают в штатном режиме, полет нормальный =) Qtek 9100 - вещь!!!

Попробую описать первые впечатления от перехода с Symbian на Windows Mobile 2005 (в процессе).

Ну, во-первых порадовал больший, по сравнению с 7610 экран, но меньший по сравнению 4150 (2.8" против 3.5"). Управление действительно стало лучше - с помощью клавиш на лицевой панели и джойстика можно полностью управлять КПК, за исключением тех программ, которые не адаптированы для WM2005, - имеется ввиду отсутствие замапленых софт-клавиш.

Первое с чего начал знакомство это, конечно, Help системы. Нет, серьезно, прочитал встроенный help от самого начала до самого конца - узнал много чего нового =) В основном меня интересовало то самое управление джойстиком - ибо привык управлять телефоном одной рукой. Идея - отличная, но не все так гладко, например, операция снятия/установки блокировки требует прикосновения к экрану. Ну, да не проблема =)

Выглядеть все стало лучше =) Хотя ровном счетом на экране Today не поменялось (появилась строка с иконками заряда и Wi-Fi, - это в расчет не беру). Две встроенные темы, с десяток звучков - иначе их не назовешь, на мой взгляд бедненько как-то, у Nokia с этим делом получше было.

В лучшую сторону изменился процесс синхронизации. Пусть обозреватели вопят, что в 4-ке обрезали кучу нужных функций (речь идет о Wi-Fi синхронизации) - не вижу в этом ничего криминального. А вот управлять партнерствами стало на порядок удобнее - это можно делать на КПК, ведется статистика соединений. На счет большого прироста скорости ничего сказать не могу - на мой взгляд как было, так и осталось =) Да и быстрее не нужно =)

Еще нашел интересный проект News-On-Mobile, я так понимаю что это новая инкарнация проекта Mobilizer (кстати с удивлением нашел блог разработчика программы).

Приглянулся телефон. Ну, прямо то, что нужно =) Не идеальная модель, - нечто среднее, но полностью покрывающая мои потребности. Сегодня будем его добывать.

В связи с этим продаю свои Nokia 7610 и iPAQ 4150. Гарантии на оба устройства уже прошли. Оба в отличном состоянии, ни разу не ремонтировались. Отдаю, как покупал - в коробке и с полным набором того, что им причитается.

• Adobe (Adobe Creek) - это название реки, на  которой стоял дом основателя фирмы.
• Apple - любимый фрукт основателя фирмы Стива Джобса. Причем Apple Macintosh - это популярный сорт яблока.
• Cisco - это не акроним, а сокращение от Сан-Франциско.
• Google - название произошло от слова Googol, означающее единицу со 100 нулями. А Google было написано на чеке, который основатели этого проекта (среди которых, кстати, был бывший российский программист Сергей Брин) получили от первого  инвестора. После этого они назвали поисковик именно так.
• Hewlett-Packard - фамилии двух основателей фирмы. Они бросали монетку, чтобы решить, чья фамилия будет в названии стоять первой.
• LG - комбинация из двух объединившихся корейских брендов Lucky и GoldStar. В России почему-то бытовало мнение, что это GoldStar сменил название из-за большого количества подделок под свою марку.
• Microsoft - произошло от термина MICROcomputer SOFTware. Сначала фирма называлась Micro-Soft.
• Mitsubishi - дословно означает по-японски "три бриллианта". Они же являются логотипом фирмы.
• Sony - название произошло от слова "sonus", что на латыни означает "звук", и "sonny" - термин, который в Штатах означает "малолетка".
• Subaru - скопление звезд в созвездии Плеяд. Именно они изображены на логотипе фирмы.

Есть такая единица длины в IT и телекоме - U, unit. 1U=1,75 дюйма. В ней измеряется толщина аппаратуры, устанавливаемой в шкафы, и высота шкафов, в которые устанавливается аппаратура. Говорят о 42U-шкафах, 1U и 2U-серверах и т.п.

Теперь внимание. На Руси длина измерялась в аршинах, четвертях и вершках. Аршин = 4 четверти = 16 вершков. Как обычно, аршины везде были разные, но потом пришел Петр I и все унифицировал. Он указал считать аршин равным 28 английским дюймам.

Уже поняли? Нет? 28/16=1,75. Вершок равен U.
